I like this class's assignment format. Everything is quite well organized, and the assignments seem pretty uniform, which makes it easier to create a consistent schedule. I'm very intrigued by the storytelling assignments. I have friends who have taken Mythology before, and they really enjoyed writing stories for the class– I look forward to creating some of my own.
As for the extra credit assignments, the Wikipedia trials option is right up my alley. I already spend several hours on Wikipedia every week; I love the way the pages are formatted, and the condensed information makes learning a cinch.
I also think that writing microfictions will be a lot of fun. Short stories are my favorite writing format; I enjoy working to fit a strong story in a small package. Writing a compelling 100 word story will be a challenge, but an enjoyable one!
